Shaun of the Dead review - concentrating on British cinema

Shaun of the Dead review

1. Storyboarding and script - Think of the opening titles, there were lots of jokes but they were very different to Zombieland . How were they different?

2. Script - Give 2 examples of jokes in SOTD. Any that were similar or the same to Zombieland.

3. Script - Shaun of the Dead uses Black comedy or Dark humour which is very British. Give two examples of dark humour in SOTD and two examples in Zombieland that are not examples of dark humour.

4. Finance-  What was SOTD so much cheaper do you think? Think about the Mis-en-scene and actors.

5. Music - What did you notice about the type of music played in the opening and throughout? Any other music mentioned and why did they choose these types of music?

6. Mise-en-scene - (not just the country!) what is very British about the different settings (rooms for example) they used

7. Language - Including the names of people,  give 5 very British examples.

8. British and Hollywood cinema - How is Shaun of the dead different and the same to Zombieland pick any parts and pick 4 examples?
